Community Conversations

United Way of Acadiana understands how vital it is to turn outward.

Between 2010 and 2011, United Way of Acadiana held 36 community conversations, and from that, created a report that informed the path the organization would take for the next eight years.

We again turned outward in 2018 and 2019, and held another 20 community conversations in our four parish footprint, and gathered data from over 300 online participants, to guide us in ways that we will serve the community for the next several years.  We embrace the mindset that hearing from those we serve helps us continue to do the good work that we do, and improve and focus it in the ways that will be even more successful, effective and relevant.

Please stay tuned as we will soon be publishing our newest 2019 report.  In the meantime, check out our 2011 report, "Voices for the Common Good," that was created during our last round of gatherings.
