232-HELP/LA 211 receives calls during natural and man made disasters as part of the statewide 211 system, providing vital non-emergency information before, during and after the event. 

FEMA Assistance Activated for the Acadiana Businesses and Individuals:
Effective August 16th, 2016, the federal declaration for the state of Louisiana has been updated to include the following eight (8) Acadiana parishes of Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Jeff Davis, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, and Vermillion.

Businesses and individuals seeking assistance should register with FEMA by doing one of the following:
Calling 800-621-FEMA (800-621-3362)

An Acadiana Disaster Recovery Center has not yet opened; however, the Louisiana Small Business Development Center is encouraging affected business owners to register with FEMA to expedite the process of setting up a center in our region
