We team up volunteers to help where they're needed most. We're cooking food at soup kitchens, cleaning up your neighborhood park, helping your neighbor's kids with their homework and more. We're also on the scene when disasters like hurricanes and ice storms strike, cleaning up streets and rebuilding homes. United Way of Acadiana's 1,000+ volunteers make an impact every day.

United Way of Acadiana gets results! We're determined to solve issues in Acadiana, not tread water against a revolving current of problems. We address and impact homelessness, healthcare for the poor, after-school care for children, independence for retarded citizens, counseling for the sexually abused and much, much more. Why? Because you haven't helped someone unless you've helped them gain independence and because HOPE matters. That's problem solving! That's what matters.
